Instructions

Here a list of steps to complete as you read:

1. As you read this article, take notes on the main ideas and important points. List them in your "Writing a Summary" section of the assignment template.
2. When you're finished reading, review what you've written down and delete any repeated information by crossing it out with a single line.
3. Now you're ready to start writing your summary. Take your point form information from each section of the chart and write it in a complete sentence. Compare your sentence to the listed information in the chart to make sure you haven't forgotten anything important.
4. Write a summary paragraph of approximately 125 words on a separate sheet of paper. Be sure to check it for accuracy, as well as for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
5. Submit your completed assignment template to your teacher.
