"Myth of Narcissus" has many attributes common to a Greek myth. Answer the following questions about this story.

1. Name two gods who are characters in this story.

2. Which human emotion does Juno possess?

3. The end of this story has a definite conclusion. What happens to Echo and Narcissus?

**Answer**
They both die. Narcissus stayed at the water looking at his reflection for so long that eventually he wasted away and died. Echo, similarly, stayed in her cave until she also faded away.

4. What lesson did you learn about life based on what happened to Narcissus?

**Answer**
Being self absorbed is not healthy. You will miss out on the love of others and you will not live a joyful life. This myth possibly explains the ancient Greek superstition that it was unlucky to look at one's own reflection.
