Another way to assess the usefulness and quality of a website is to move through all the links in the website. Websites are made up of web pages and being able to easily move around and between the pages is important. Consider the following:

• Are buttons, scroll-bars, and other navigation tools found in the same place on each page?
• Are they organized and easy to read?
• Are links made clear?
• Do you ever have to go through multiple links to reach a piece of information?
• Is the home page available from every page?
• Is contact information available on each page?
• Is a link to a site map available at all times?
• Do you have access to a site search, a very useful tool? What about a FAQ (frequently asked questions) page? Both of these tools indicate that a web designer has tried to anticipate the needs of the audience.
