Section 2.3 Assignment Part B: Oral Presentation

Instructions

Note: If you are completing this assignment through distance education, you will need to submit a recording to your teacher. Videotape or otherwise record your presentation, and send a copy by mail or by email.

Your assignment is to create a 2 - 3 minute oral and visual presentation on the topic you completed your multi-paragraph composition on in the previous lesson. Review Lesson 2.3C: Speak Your Mind for specific instructions.

As part of your presentation, you will be required to submit:

speaking notes for the oral presentation
supporting visuals, or photos of these visuals for the oral presentation (i.e. computer slide show such as PowerPoint, poster, etc.)
presentation itself - Present the speech to your teacher, your class, or to an audience of your choice. Your presentation should show evidence of careful planning and practice. When applicable, videotape or make an audio recording of the presentation and submit the recording. (If you cannot record the presentation, contact your teacher who may arrange to meet with you or to hear your presentation over the phone.)
